Manifest 10X faster by aligning your Behaviours with your Beliefs
Time for Reality Check.
Ever sat down and thought to yourself, “I have the skills and experience to earn me a six/seven-figure check.”
But then, you wake up and do the same thing you did yesterday and the day before and take home probably 5K, or less, a month. :(
The thought you have about deserving six/seven-figure income is belief, and the work you put in daily to earn the 5K is behaviour.
As you can see in this case, your beliefs and behaviours aren’t in line.
If you’re to achieve anything in life, whether it’s your career, business, self-improvement, and so on, your beliefs and behaviours must align.
It’s how the law of attraction works.
Your thoughts create energy that affects your life experiences. And, you can manipulate that energy to improve your finances, relationships and even health.
So, if you believe you can run your own business, your behaviours must align with an entrepreneur’s.
In this article, I will share some tips on syncing your behaviours and beliefs so that you can manifest your desires so much faster and with ease.
We are a combination of our values, beliefs, and behaviours, but our values and beliefs mean nothing if our behaviours don’t align with them.
Our behaviours can be what gets us stuck in a sort of loop no matter how much we want to get out of it. Although the logical step to take when something isn’t leading us to where we want is to change what we’re doing, a lot of us rarely change our actions.
Instead, we just keep doing the same thing expecting the results to be different.
For instance, you may find yourself dating the same kind of person, even though you tell yourself that it will be different this time around.
The truth is, you will face the same problems in life again and again until you have learnt to face your inner conflicts with your realities and take on initiatives to solve them.
Because this is how life wants us to learn our lessons.
So, how do you make sure your behaviours go hand in hand with your beliefs?
1. Write Down Your Beliefs and Go Over Them
First things first, are you aware of your beliefs and/or really wholeheartedly believe in what you say you stand by?
Your beliefs should align with your vibrational frequencies (or emotional states) for them to change your behaviours and manifest your goals.
When answering those questions, get your beliefs from your mind and on to paper.
This way, you can look at them with a more realistic lens.
Now, not every belief you have is progressive or good for your growth.
Some may be empowering, and others may be limiting.
So, ideally, you want to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Telling yourself things like, “I’m not cut out for that” or “I don’t have enough experience to do this or that” can really affect your self-esteem and overall behaviour. Those are limiting or negative beliefs.
So, you want to replace them with positive thoughts like, “I can totally hack that,” or “Let me get started. I will learn along the way.”
Once you have a clear outline of your positive beliefs, you want to pin them somewhere you can see so that you can remind yourself regularly.
2. Make a Plan with the Actions You Need to Take
Now beliefs are just that unless you decide to take action.
It’s not enough to say you will expand your business to reach the potential you believe you can. You actually have to build a roadmap towards your goals.
That’s because small repeated actions are what form habits. This philosophy has been preached by many self-empowerment writers, including Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich.
So, if you believe you can make six/seven figures a year, what cumulative actions can you start now to get you there? What are you currently doing that’s holding you back?
For instance, you may be too focused on other people’s approval rather than listening to your inner-self.
Little by little, you can shift your behaviours and actions to start aligning with your beliefs.
3. Go Over Your Progress Every Day
At the end of each day, or during my weekly review, I like to look back at everything and ask myself, “Have my actions brought me closer to who I want to be?”
Some days are good, some not so much. But on those bad days, I dust myself up and plan how I’m going to do better the following day.
Our subconscious mind is what dictates our behaviours.
So, sometimes, you’re not even actively aware that you’re doing something.
That’s why it’s important that you audit your actions regularly to see your progress and adjust as needed, and journaling your day is a way to keep yourself aware of whether your behaviours align with your beliefs.
4. Final Thought
Remember to be kind to yourself as sometimes you may slip up to your old ways (I still do!).
However, as long as you proactively align your behaviours with your beliefs, you will gradually get closer to your ideal self!
